We had a wonderful time in Ballycastle on the beautiful North Antrim coast with our friends. Seamus and Clare were our hosts with Paul and Isabel giving a hand and Leonard and Marissa supervising to make sure all went to plan. And of course it did! We met as usual in the hall where Bottle-top Bingo made a welcome return then shortly afterwards Gary entertained us with some light music as friends caught up with one another.
Ramblers made their way out on Saturday to check out this lovely little town which has plenty to offer, especially in terms of bracing sea air and scenery. It is such a beautiful part of the world and really easy to understand why it is so popular in Summer. Meeting once again in the hall on Saturday evening Gary played some great tunes as members took a number of turns around the floor. But it was three little girls who really were the life and soul of the party as they danced and partied all night under the watchful eye of proud Grandparents Victor and Sandra. They certainly know their music and lets hope we see these little Swifties back soon.
Tea and Coffee was the usual treat on Sunday and members gathered to say cheerio and enjoy Enda’s address who continues to stand in for David & Joe. With both Bridget and Roberta recovering well we hope that we will see them all soon and on the dance floor again.
